Military Service:
    Attorney Lyons has served in the U.S. Army Reserve since 1989. He is a Military Intelligence Officer, specializing in CounterTerrorism and Human Intelligence (HUMINT). He has commanded at the company and battalion levels. He has participated in Operation DESERT STORM (Kuwait), Operation JOINT FORGE (Bosnia), and Operation IRAQI FREEDOM (Iraq).

Public Service:
  • Attorney Lyons has served in a professional capacity with the Massachusetts Highway Department (MHD) and as the Director of Traffic & Parking for the City of Somerville, Massachusetts. He also served as the Executive Director of the Somerville Traffic Commission. He has a broad range of experience in municipal infrastructure, including capital planning and permitting. Attorney Lyons has been directly involved in the drafting, development, and administration of zoning ordinances/by-laws and municipal traffic regulations.
  • Attorney Lyons’ public sector experience also includes service on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Department of Housing & Community Development Designer Selection Committee, the Town of Natick Planning Board, Natick Town Meeting, and the Town of Natick Municipal Complex Advisory Committee.
